The present disclosure provides a method of increasing the concentration of K2O in an aqueous solution. The method comprises reacting potassium sulfate with an acidic compound to yield a product that includes potassium hydrogen sulfate. The product can be used to supplement crops in need of potassium. The product can also have other nutrients added to it, depending on the desired end use. Advantageously, these products increase yield as compared to prior art products.
