Abstract
An improved system for locating a stolen vehicle or the like is disclosed. The system includes a hidden transceiver such as a cellular transceiver and a positioning device such a GPS antenna and chipset located apart from the transceiver. To avoid disclosure of the location of the transceiver by following wires, the positioning device and the transceiver are in wireless communication with each other.
