The invention includes a new method and system for designing group retirement plans. The method and system merge a prospective plan sponsor's business objectives and needs with a business logic component for plan design. Based upon information collected from the plan sponsor, the business logic component designs a suitable group retirement plan. The present invention generally eliminates the need for a sales representative in retirement plan design.
