Abstract
Compositions and methods are provided for identifying and designing modulators of integrin-mediated cell-cell interactions through altering the interaction of ADAM 23 with .alpha.v.beta.3 integrin. Compositions and methods are also provided for modulating integrin-mediated cell-cell interactions such as those involved in angiogenesis, induction of active metalloproteinases, tumor progression and neural tissue growth.
