Abstract
An automated transaction machine includes a computer coupled with a financial transaction network. The computer is able to receive paper coupons and determine account and vendor information therefrom. The computer is also coupled with a currency acceptor and a debit or credit card acceptor. Payment against the paper coupons may be made through the currency acceptor or card acceptor.
