Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide an image heating apparatus for heating an image formed on a recording material that has a heat generating member, and an excitation coil for generating a magnetic field to induce an eddy current in the heat generating member, wherein a heat resistance value of the heat generating member per 1 cm.sup.2 is 0.025.degree. C./W or greater and 5.degree. C./w or less.
