Abstract
A food pan cover for use with a food pan having a flange extending from the walls and substantially surrounding the periphery of the walls. A plurality of protuberances and depressions are formed on the underside of the flange; on the cover under and adjacent to the walls, and a plurality of dovetail members are formed on the periphery of the walls. An elastomeric seal is formed on the protuberances, and depressions and dovetails of a polyurethane having a usable temperature after molding of 212.degree. fahrenheit and a hardness of 60 to 120 shore A, with a plurality of ribs, and terminates in a downwardly curved projection defining a groove around the periphery of the seal.
