Abstract
A composite building product in which a coating formulation is applied to the product which includes an hydraulic binder and a quantity of dewatering agent. A slurry is produced, applied to the product to be coated, and the coating having sufficient dewatering agent that it can be dewatered through said product. Dewatering can be accomplished with or without vacuum assistance.
