Abstract
A wick holder for use with an oil lamp includes a body having a wick passage and at least one vent extending through the body to provide fluid communication between an interior and an exterior of an oil lamp reservoir. Additionally, or alternatively, the wick holder may include an oil capture channel formed in a surface of the wick holder spaced about the wick passage. Additionally, or alternatively, the wick holder may also include neck having a convex outer surface proximate an end of the neck. Additionally, or alternatively, the wick holder may include a convex inner surface forming a part of the wick passage proximate the end of the neck.
