Abstract
An external device can generate data file in a predetermined data format by using editing capabilities. The contents of the file are transferred to the mobile telephone together with a control data depending on a format. A mobile telephone performs a new mail generation and transmission/storage processes according to the received command and code. The code of an `on-hook` key can be transmitted at a start and an end of the code transmission to completely return the mobile telephone to the wait state.
