Abstract
A visually clear and substantially colorless antimicrobial-containing solution comprising at least 20 weight percent of an alkoxylated monoalkanolamide surfactant represented by formula II: 1 wherein: R.sub.1 represents a hydrocarbon radical; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, --CH.sub.3 or --CH.sub.2--CH.sub.3 radical; and x independently represents at least 1. The antimicrobial-containing solutions are suitable for readily mixing into cosmetics and disinfectant cleaning products.
