Abstract

A device for milking animals, such as cows, which device comprises at least one teat cup and a foremilk reservoir for containing a certain amount of foremilk, substantially obtained at the beginning of the milking process. The foremilk reservoir is provided with an inlet and an outlet with an outlet-closing means for the foremilk. The device is provided with a milk container for containing milk obtained, and with at least one milk line connecting the teat cup to the milk container. The foremilk reservoir is integrated in the teat cup. A teat cup for milking animals, such as cows. The teat cup is provided with a foremilk reservoir for containing a certain amount of foremilk, substantially obtained at the beginning of the milking process, said foremilk reservoir being provided with an inlet and an outlet with an outlet-closing means for the foremilk.
