Abstract

A computerized locus investigation system for motor vehicles claims adjusters comprises an Internet-accessible database of photographs of street intersections and other potential motor vehicle accident sites (including intersections of any type of private or public ways accessible to motor vehicles), retrievable by queries specifying the intersecting streets or ways of interest. The database is comprised of images photographed using a digital still camera having voice recording means, for use by the photographer to tag each image with identifying geographical address information.
