Abstract

A hand held tool for placing and shaping dental resin composites and the like has various interchangeable tips attached to a handle that allow for specific use and geometries associated with tooth surfaces, hard and soft tissues, and the placement of medicaments or irrigation of periodontal tissues. Individual tips may have geometries in three dimensions that coordinate with specific tooth surface analogues that allow a dentist to place and shape restorative materials on the surfaces of teeth. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure.
