Abstract
A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for decoding compressed audio data. A bitstream is read utilizing reconfigurable hardware, where the bitstream includes compressed audio data. The data in the bitstream is interpreted, and then decoded utilizing reconfigurable hardware. The decoded data is quantized. Stereo signals of the decoded data are decoded. The decoded data is processed for output.
