Abstract
A control apparatus, including a memory device for storing a limitation or a restriction for allowing or prohibiting an operation regarding a vehicle or a premises. The first control device is located remote from the vehicle or premises and receives a first control signal from a second control device. The first control signal contains information regarding an operation regarding a vehicle or a premises. The first control device determines if the operation is allowed or disallowed, and if allowed, the at least one of generates a second control signal and transmits a second control signal to a third control device located at the vehicle or premises. The third control device generates a third control signal which at least one of activates, deactivates, enables, disables, and controls, the vehicle or premises, or a system, an equipment system, equipment, a component, a device, and an accessory, of the vehicle or premises.
