Abstract
A data analysis system for ligation-based sequencing is provided. The system includes a base calling algorithm that may be implemented with a program of instructions (e.g., software) for determining a signature of a nucleotide sequence. A graphical user interface (GUI) enables a user to interact with and control various aspects of the base calling algorithm. The base calling algorithm and associated software may be used in connection with a technique that combines non-gel-based signature sequencing with in vitro cloning of millions of templates on separate 5 .mu.m diameter microbeads.
