The invention relates to a process for providing a stable crystalline form of a fine-milled salbutamol sulfate, which can be produced, stored and used while maintaining the aerodynamic properties required for inhalation thereof, which comprises the steps of a) micronizing salbutamol sulfate into a particle size required for inhalation; b) conditioning said salbutamol sulfate by treatment with a water-containing vapor; and c) drying the substance.
