Abstract
A system and method of automated analysis of human retinopathy. Stereo images of a retina are obtained at different times. Topography of the retina is obtained from analysis of the stereo image pair. Cupping of the retina is then ascertained and is indicative of the progression and severity of various retinopathies. Disparity mapping of the retina from the various images are also obtained from the images and compared at different times to assess how retinal disparities are changing as yet another indicator of the progression of retinopathies.
