Abstract
The present invention relates to a self-fastening backing (A) for a coated abrasive product, comprising a backing for abrasive (1) bonded to a self-fastening sheet (1a), characterized in that the said self-fastening backing (A) has a water vapour permeability of greater than 1 g.m.sup.-2/24 h, particularly one bonded by a porous adhesive matrix (1b). The invention also relates to the process for manufacturing the self-fastening coated abrasive product incorporating the said self-fastening backing.
