Abstract
A wireless communication system comprises a wireless mobile station and a wireless base station for communicating with the wireless mobile station through a wireless communication network, wherein the wireless mobile station requests location information from the wireless base station. The wireless base station transmits the location information to the wireless mobile station in response to the request of the wireless mobile station. Although the mobile station is placed in the environment in which it is difficult to receive a satellite signal or the mobile station does not include a satellite signal receiver, the location of the mobile station can be determined through the base station that can always receive a satellite signal.
