Abstract
A mine bolt for a bore hole in a roof of a mine. The bolt comprises a tube having a cross-sectional diameter less than that of the bore hole, a hollow interior, a first end, and a second end having an opening in communication with the hollow interior. The bolt comprises a flange disposed adjacent to the second end. The bolt can include an anchor means implaced in the tube and an elongated member disposed in the tube and extending from the anchor means out the tube to the second end. A method for supporting a mine roof. A method of forming a mine bolt.
