Abstract
The containers (B) are suspended, via their neck support ring (8) or the like, on under-neck guides (305a; 305b) of a conveyor (3) and are transported along said under-neck guides, preferably under drive of air jets. The underside of each neck support ring (8) is treated so as to make said underside more slippery onto the under-neck guides (305a; 305b). In particular, said treatment of the underside of the neck support ring is made by applying a lubricant in liquid form, such as for example silicon oil.
