Abstract
The present invention provides for an adapter configured to interface with a syringe and a container. The adapter has at least one aperture passing therethrough to allow fluid to pass between the syringe and the container, and engages the container so as to accurately position a fluid dispersal point of the adapter within the container. The adapter may be configured to cooperatively engage a structure protruding from the container. In some embodiments of the present invention, a fluid dispersion end of the adapter may also act to provide a level indicator to allow the operator to more easily detect when the fluid level has reached the appropriate height within the container. Other embodiments of the present invention also provide protection to the operator to help prevent the operator from accidentally sticking himself with a needle connected with a syringe while using the adapter.
