The present invention relates to methods, devices for using electromagnetic energy to inductively alter biomolecular targets for therapeutic or diagnostic purposes. The biomolecular targets optionally may be a composition comprising groups or 'sinks' linked to them in order to enhance the magnitude of interaction between the target and the electromagnetic energy.
