Abstract

Compounds formed of (per)fluoropolyether chains and end groups having a pyridine structure, with structural formula: T.sub.1-CW.sub.1--O--R.sub.f--CW.sub.2-T.sub.2 (I) wherein T.sub.1, T.sub.2, equal to or different from each other, have the following meanings: F, CF.sub.3, C.sub.2F.sub.5, (C.sub.2F.sub.4)Cl; CH.sub.2--B--Y, CH(CF.sub.3)O--Y, wherein: B.dbd.O, S; ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, equal to or different from each other, are H, F, C.sub.1-C.sub.8 linear or branched perfluoroalkyl, NO.sub.2, CN; with the proviso that at least one of the two end groups T.sub.1, T.sub.2 is CH.sub.2--B--Y or CH(CF.sub.3)O--Y as above defined; W.sub.1, W.sub.2, equal to or different from each other, are --F, --CF.sub.3; Rf is a (per)fluoropolyoxyalkylene chain having a number average molecular weight from 400 to 10,000.
