The invention relates to a bio-liquid treatment device (10) comprising at least two bio-liquid treatment modules (12, 14, 16) containing a bio-liquid treatment medium (12g, 14g, 16g), the bio-liquid treatment media of at least two bio-liquid treatment modules being different from each other. A series of such bio-liquid treatment modules (12, 14, 16) may provide a bio-liquid treatment device (10) which can provide an enhanced nephrologic therapy, in particular hemodiafiltration.
