Abstract
The invention relates to a thermoelectric module wherein a metallic conductive plate (1) is coated with a platinum layer (2) and a tellurium (3) layer, or other thermoelectric couples. The utilisation of layers of 1 .mu.m or less reduces the ohmic resistance of the thermoelectric materials and allows the production of flat, cylindrical or otherwise shaped modules.
