Abstract
A sash frame is used to provide an integrated multipane window unit. A first strip of adhesive material is applied to the sash frame. The outside surface of a first glazing pane is mounted to the first strip of adhesive material. A second strip of adhesive material is applied to the sash frame substantially parallel to the first strip. The outside surface of the second glazing pane is mounted to the second strip of adhesive material. The inside surfaces of the glazing panes face each other. The glazing panes can be mounted to the sash frame by drawing them outwardly against their respective adhesive strips. Respective spacer structure elements can be provided as part of the sash frame to provide structural support and maintain a consistent desired spacing between the glazing panes.
