Abstract
Delipidized plasma preparations which possess prothrombin concentrations which are set in a defined manner and which are lower or higher than those in normal human plasma are suitable for calibrating, standardizing and controlling thrombin activity tests and thrombin generation tests such as ETP tests. The plasma preparations are produced using a prothrombin-deficient plasma, which is obtained from normal plasma by means of immunoadsorption, for example, and can additionally comprise buffering substances, proteinase inhibitors, anticoagulants, stabilizers and/or other auxiliary substances and additives which are customary when preparing plasmas.
