Abstract

There is provided a method for producing granular fertilisers that includes at least one structural compound based on at least two salts. The method includes the steps of disposing of at least one salt that includes nitrogen, humidifying the at least one salt, mixing the at least one humidified salt with at least one substance comprising at least one alkaline and/or alkaline-earth element and/or at least one element of group IV, producing a granular fertiliser by granulation of the mixture, and cooling the granular fertiliser. There is also provided a granular fertiliser comprising nitrogen and having a pH in the range of 3.ltoreq.pH.ltoreq.7. The granular fertiliser shows a strength .sigma. of .sigma..gtoreq.3 MPa and includes a concentration c.sub.SC of at least one structural compound with c.sub.SC.gtoreq.50 wt.-%.
