Abstract
A heating apparatus having a support base and a microplate having a first surface and an opposing second surface. The microplate being positioned adjacent the support base. A plurality of wells are formed in the first surface of the microplate and are each sized to receive an assay therein. A transparent window is positioned adjacent the microplate opposing the support base. A transparent heating element is formed on the transparent window and is operable to heat the transparent window. A control system operably controls the transparent heating element.
