Abstract
Request packets are transmitted from a central location to remote wells through a wireless well hopping path. A destination well unit executes a data request or a command and sends a response data packet back to the central location through the same wireless well hopping path. One or more satellite offices are connected to the central location and can download data from the central location or send/receive data packets to/from the well units. Oxygen content in production gas can be detected and transmitted to the central location for monitoring and reporting. Multiple data requests can be made in a single request packet.
