Abstract
The invention provides a powder metallic coating material containing a flake pigment, which comprises base particles having flaky shape and a film containing a charge control agent on surfaces of the base particles, and a resin powder. It is preferable that relation between a charge value of the flake pigment and a charge value of the resin powder is defined by the following expressions (1) and (2): |C.sub.R-C.sub.A|.ltoreq.10 (1) 10.ltoreq.|C.sub.A|.ltoreq.40 (2) In the expressions (1) and (2), C.sub.A denotes the charge value (.mu.C/g) of the flake pigment and C.sub.R denotes the charge value (.mu.C/g) of the resin powder.
