Abstract
A cutting portion 6 is formed at a distal end of each of a pair of cutting blades 1. A projecting portion 7 is provided at a position spaced away from the cutting portion 6 along the axial direction of a rod-like member to be cut, wherein when the cutting portions 6 abut each other, the projecting portions bite some portion of the rod-like member to be cut. Accordingly, the cut piece can be held and thus cannot fly outward upon the cutting operation
