Abstract

A system and method for remotely querying an individual regarding effects of a pharmaceutical drug includes a server and a remote apparatus that receives computer executable commands from the server over a communications channel, wherein the computer executable commands represent data queries related to the pharmaceutical drug, wherein the remote apparatus comprises a processor that executes the computer executable commands to cause communication of at least one of the data queries to the individual, wherein the remote apparatus (i) receives responses to the at least one of the data queries from the individual, and (ii) transmits the responses to the server. The responses comprise any of audible, data entry, and direct responses. A monitoring device connects to the remote apparatus and monitors any of blood glucose, respiratory flow, blood pressure, weight, pulse rate, and an efficacy, side effects, and quality of life impact of the pharmaceutical drug on the individual.
