Abstract
A mount for mounting a device to a firearm that includes a side plate, a support plate and a mounting rail. The side plate has a first end and a second end. The support plate extends from the first end of the side plate at approximately a right angle. Moreover, the support plate is adapted to support a device resting thereon. The mounting rail is coupled to the second end of the side plat. In addition, the mounting rail extends out from the side plate in a direction that is approximately opposite the direction the support plate extends from the side plate.
