Abstract
An insertion tool for an intervertebral spacer includes an extending portion having a surface shaped to engage a complementary surface of a trailing end of the spacer and configured to be insertable within an opening in the spacer. While the extending portion is disposed within the spacer's trailing end, the tool may be positioned at one of a plurality of different, selectable positions relative to the spacer where the mutual engaging surfaces may secure the tool and the spacer.
