Abstract

Methods, systems, and techniques for deploying, publishing, sharing, and using analytics are provided. Example embodiments provide a Analytic Server Computing System (an 'ASCS') which provides an SOA framework, for enabling users to develop and deploy analytics to their customers or other human or electronic clients by means of a web service/web server. Once published, such analytics can be consumed, for example, by a reporting interface for running analytics without having to understand the workings of the analytics. In one embodiment, the ASCS includes an analytic web service, which is used by consumers, typically through ASCS client code, to specify or discover analytics and to run them on consumer designated data and with designated parameter values.
