Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of at least one compound of the following general formula (I): wherein R represents OH or NH.sub.2, or of precursors or derivatives thereof, or of the pharmaceutically acceptable salts of the compound or of its precursors or derivatives, for the manufacture of a medicament intended for the prevention or the treatment of parasitic diseases, in particular of protozoan parasitic diseases, more particularly of leishmaniosis, and especially for the prevention or the treatment of parasitic diseases occurring in immunodepressed patients.
