The present invention relates to a system for treating a patient. The system includes a device configured to be positioned adjacent a portion of the patient, a medicinal substance delivery device, adapted to delivery a medicinal substance to the portion of the patient, a heating means adapted to provide heat to the device and a control system configured to monitor the heating means and control the temperature of the device at the portion of the patient.
