Abstract

A reusable, launderable, moisture control undergarment comprises a brief portion made mostly of a first material. The brief portion generally includes a waist opening, two leg openings and a crotch area. A moisture protection pad is disposed in at least the crotch area of the brief portion. The moisture protection pad comprises a first layer formed of a non-woven, absorbent material, and a second layer which is moisture impermeable. The second layer is disposed on the outer side of the first layer and covers substantially the entire outer side of the first layer. The second layer may be comprised of the first material which has been made moisture impermeable through a Teflon.RTM. treatment. A third layer formed of the first material is disposed over inner side of the first layer.
