Abstract
A system and method for dynamically generating a localizer image comprising a plurality of pixel values. First, a plurality of planar images is provided, wherein each image has a plane. A three dimensional volume is generated based on the plurality of planar images, wherein the three dimensional volume comprises a plurality of values. An orientation and location are selected for the localizer image. Finally, a localizer image is generated, based on the plurality of values of the three dimensional volume, in the selected orientation and location.
