The hands-free device is head-mounted and has at least one of a speaker and a microphone. A memory stores data. Means for causing a communications device coupled with the hands free device are included, to establish a communication connection indicated by data stored in the memory in response to detection of user operation of the user-operable input means, wherein the data includes at least one of a number and an address to be called. A user may store in the memory of the hands-free device the data indicating the predetermined communications connection to be established. The memory may be programmable by the user such that the data indicating the predetermined communications connection to be established can be changed in use by the user.
