Abstract
A porous support (1) for the tangential filtration of a fluid to be processed, which has at least one surface (3) oriented toward the fluid to be processed flowing in a given direction of flow, and a surface (1.sub.1) for extraction of a fraction called the filtrate, flowing through the porous support, this support being created by modification of an initial support, characterised in that it has a reduced permeability in relation to the initial support, and which is homogeneous when one moves parallel to the surface (3) of the support oriented toward the fluid to be processed in the direction of flow of the fluid to be processed.
