A stand along continuous pressure airwave pressure (CPAP) device and associated method are described for use in treating and/or diagnosing sleep apnea disorders. The CPAP device includes the interconnected components of a mouthpiece, a housing, an airway, a blower, a cover, a control circuit and an on/off switch. The method includes the steps of allowing, attaching, biting, coupling, detaching, downloading, moisturizing, obtaining, pressing, sleeping, and withdrawing.
