Abstract
1. Headlight system for vehicles, preferably for motor vehicles2.1 The headlight system has an adjustable headlight and a device to record the road layout. The device has an imaging sensor with an image processing device and a control device and sends signals [concerning] the images/data determined via the imaging sensors by means of the image processing device and to the control device to actuators or lamps of the headlight to change the direction of the emitting beam [sic].2.2 In order for any change in direction of the emitting beams to occur already before the change in direction, the image processing device generates a signal from the images/data determined by the imaging sensor, which permits prediction of the road layout and which is fed to the light control device. It sends signals to the actuators for an anticipatory direction change of the light beams of the headlight.2.3 Such a headlight system is used in motor vehicles.
