A method for applying ultrasonic vibration to a resin material in a molten state by an ultrasonic vibration application apparatus (30) being attached to a molding apparatus (10), in which a load applied to an ultrasonic oscillator is reduced and an amount of air bubbles contained in a molded article is reduced by controlling the pressure P and the melt viscosity .eta. of the resin material at the time of applying ultrasonic vibration.
