An object of the present invention is to provide a high-strength polyester fiber suitable for industrial materials, in particular, for a tire cord.The high-strength polyester fiber of the present invention is a polyester high-strength fiber comprising a polyester resin and a polycarboxylic acid-based amide compound, wherein the polyester fiber has a strength of 8.8 cN/dtex or more.
