Abstract
The present invention provides a resin molded article having high adhesive strength of plating and giving beautiful appearance. Specifically, the present invention provides a plated resin molded article having a metal plating layer on the surface thereof, which resin molded article is made of a resin composition including: (A) a synthetic resin; 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of (B) a water-soluble substance having the solubility in water (25° C.) ranging from 0.01 g/100 g to 10 g/100 g; 0 to 20 parts by mass of (C) a compatible substance; and (D) an inorganic filler by a quantity of 1 to 55 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of the sum of (A), (B) and (C) components, wherein the resin molded article is not treated by etching by an acid containing chromium and/or manganese.
